Under the women empowerment project, the Humanitarian Development Organization has provided the solar drying chambers for the women – headed and disabled families at Pesalai and Thalaimannar Villages. Through this project 60 coastal area families will be engaged in the quality dry fish production and they will be linked with national and international markets.
This solar drying chamber was designed by the technical team of Humanitarian Development Organization. Through this solar dryer, the following benefits are expected.
