UNDP Sri Lanka Resident Representative (Mr. Robert Juhkam) and his team were visited the Gotharimunnai, Poongri on 31 January 2022 to review the successful story of HDO’s Strengthen the socio-economic-environmental condition of the war affected coastal population through land rehabilitation & mangrove plantation. Farmers and rural people of Gotharimunnai have shared their gratitude to UNDP Resident Representative and HDO for the sustainable way of to managing the saltwater intrusion/ saltwater flooding issues.
