Humanitarian Development Organization under the funding assistance of NCEASL has targeted 125 youth of all religions in Vavuniya district to create awareness on freedom of religious belief. In order to conduct the awareness program, 04 youth peer educators are specially trained and capacitated.
With the support of government officials and religious leaders, 51 youth were mobilized for the awareness program on 10th and 11th of January 2024 at Nelly Star. Government officials and the religious leaders who participated in the two programs highly appreciated the innovative effort taken by Humanitarian Development Organization to target the 125 youth for this program, train the 04 youth and empower them as resource persons.
